Old Burial Hill - Plymouth, MA

Old Burial Hill in Plymouth is a remarkable cemetery.
Many pilgrims laid to rest there.
Overlooking the harbor, I can think if no better place to be buried, the view was amazing.

Love this skull. Very unique.

William Bradford, Plymouth Colony Governor.
Fresh flowers had been laid at his grave.

The family is growing tired of my old cemetery curiosity!

  2. I just love old cemeteries. They offer visitors such a mix of emotions! I especially love it when some of the stones start sinking into the ground.

  3. I love all the old carvings on the stones! Poor family - but they must know how much you love this kind of thing. Next time pack them each a book or two!
